Allumer® is a budding jewelry company created in September of 2024 by Brenna S. A pivotal moment in her life was when she was taught by her fiancé, Blake, how to master working with Argentium® Silver. With this knowledge under her belt, she began ensuring each piece was made in house, by hand. Allumer® was created with an emphasis on making positive strides in the jewelry industry-- while making a difference in the world in a meaningful and sustainable way.
The Inspiration Behind Our Hypoallergenic Values
Brenna Sage, the founder of Allumer®, not only is an admirer of exquisite gems and alloys, but also happens to be an identical twin! Brenna's twin sister suffers from a nickel allergy that makes wearing unstamped, unknown jewelry pieces virtually impossible without risking a breakout. That ultimately lead Brenna to spend countless days and nights researching alloys, until finally, she stumbled across a post by Peter Johns, the inventor of Argentium® Silver. He outlined how Argentium® Silver has no nickel in it whatsoever, meaning that the alloy that prevents many individuals from wearing silver necklaces or earrings, is no longer an issue with Argentium® Silver. After having her sister conduct many experiments, such as wearing the earrings for different amounts of time, etc., no negative side effects were reported.

After becoming inspired by pearls and their elegance, Brenna decided she wanted to quit her job and dedicate her life to creating a note-worthy sustainable pearl and Argentium® Silver jewelry company. On September 18, 2024 , allumerllc® was formed.

The first freshwater pearl stud earring prototypes were successfully created and "Classique" was born.

Argentium® Silver rings were actually the very first pieces of jewelry that helped launch www.allumer.org prior to the "Classique" pearl earring studs. Etsy® was used to gauge the marketplace favorability of various styles and for collecting reviews. Silver rings are currently one of the most popular accessories being spotted anytime you see a well-curated outfit.
Not only has silver become a staple, but specifically Argentium® Silver rings have been experiencing a wave of popularity as the best eco-friendly and shinier alternative to traditional Sterling Silver rings.
Both freshwater pearl stud earrings and Argentium® Silver rings will be available as year-long items, but wait times may be extended depending on volume of orders.

Why Argentium® Silver? It's Oh, So Bright. And Oh, So Fine.
Argentium® Silver has a trademark brightness that's caused by the Germanium in the alloy, obstructing oxidation and allowing each piece made of it to stay brighter for longer compared to Sterling Silver, as well as brighter and whiter than Platinum, White Gold and Palladium. There is 94% or 96% (depending on whether 940 grade or 960 grade is used) of pure silver in both grades of Argentium® Silver, making it have a higher silver content compared to traditional Sterling Silver, which only contains 92.5% of pure silver. Traditional Sterling Silver tarnishes quicker than Argentium® Silver.
On top of the Silver exhibiting a natural, white luster, Allumer® puts a mirror-like finish on all silver pieces. Since Argentium® has certified silver purity and is conflict-free, it's safe to say Argentium® Silver surpasses Sterling Silver.

Pearls are naturally iridescent, which causes them to exude sophistication and elegance due to their brilliance. Wearing real pearls is an entirely different experience than wearing "Swarovski" pearls or any other faux pearls because natural luster is simply unmatched. Freshwater pearls are the first stones to make their debut in the Simplicité : Classique collection as round, 7.5mm pearl stud earrings.
